Natural gas and LPG are the fuels which emit significantly less harmful substances, compared to other energy carriers. Using gas, among other benefits, eliminates emission of so-called particulate matters (PM 10 and PM 2,5).

LPG tank installation for business

Big transport and storage flexibility means that GASPOL performs gas installations with power between 100 kW and 25 MW, powered with individually adjusted tank park, located in any given place.

Industrial installations can be powered from tanks:

  • above-ground
  • underground
  • embanked

with capacity of:

  • 2700 l
  • 4850 l
  • 6700 l
  • or bigger (non-standard)

Operation of an installation:

  • liquefied gas is stored in tank / tanks under pressure, tanks are filled up to 85% of their capacity
  • after taking the heat from the surroundings or by evaporator gas evaporates and moves to gas appliances (if there is any need, the gas pressure can be reduced properly)
  • in case of increased need for gas, installation can be easily modified (another gas tank and/or bigger gas evaporation)

In high-power installation evaporators are used. These are devices which increase the installation power and replace natural ability of evaporating gas from tanks.

GASPOL uses evaporators powered with hot water or electricity. Evaporators can cooperate with custom tank park of any given size.


Gas price
We offer three variants of defining gas price: fixed price for the whole year, variable price or defined price according to formula based on liquefied gas price quotations.

Telemetric device monitors the reserve of gas in tank. Information form this measurement are available online for customer in his/her Customer Portal. Thanks to that you can gain access to information about gas reserve in any given place and time, without need to check the level on tank.

In case of low level of gas GASPOL contacts customer with offer to tank refill.

  • monitoring of gas level inside tank by GASPOL and securing continuity of deliveries.


Telemetry is an electronic, unattended system of gas usage control. Telemetric device integrated with a gas meter reads the gas usage and automatically transfers all data to the telemetry centre by SMS message. 

On this basis an invoice is issued for the used gas.

Advantages of LNG over other fuels

Low price

Production and transport of LNG are much simpler and less energy-intensive, comparet to other fossil fuels.

Since 2005 production of LNG increased from 150 million tons to 300 million tons, thus creating a surplus on the market. This, combined with discovery of cheap methods of extracting unconventional gas and limited use of natural gas as a feedstock means that prices of natural gas and LNG will be much more attractive for buyers than prices of LPG. In the opinion of industry experts, it will be a continous trend, especially owing to such producers as USA, China or Australia which balance demand from Asia.

In case of LPG there will be also an increased incidene, e.g. for carbon dioxide emission, resulting from non-compliance with European Union's Energy and Climate package for year 2020. It will force many companies to reconsider their energy choices and give up LPG. It will be also connected with savings: gas ensures higher performance (by 3-5%)

Natural environment protection

LNG gas is odourless, non-toxic and does not cause corrosion. In contact with environment (even in case of leak of large amounts) LNG evaporates quickly without any trace in water to earth.

Due to the fact that natural gas consists mainly of methane, its basic gas combustion products are carbon dioxide and water vapour - the same elements we expel through respiration. Both coal and oil consist of much more compound particles, characterized by the bigger participation of coal and higher content of nitrogen and sulphur. It means that during combustion process coal and oil release higher level of harmful substances, including carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides or sulphur dioxide when penetrating into atmosphere they contribute to air pollution. Meanwhile while burning natural gas there are scanty quantities of sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxides, free of ashes or any other particles, as well as significantly less quantities of carbon dioxide, coal oxide and other reactive hydrocarbons.

Natural gas, as the cleanest of all fossil fuels, has many apllications, while its use favours the reduction of pollution emissions to amtosphere. Burning natural gas as a replacement for other fossil fuels translates into less harmful pollutions which in turn allows to reducec the level of their emissions.

Huge reserves

World reserves of natural gas are significantly bigger than reserves of available oil deposits (access to shale gas means additional increase by 40% of world gas deposits which are estimated to last for antother 130 years). It translates into independence from world oil producers.

Easy transport

LNG is transported as easy of LPG or oil, because it does not involve participation of underground gas pipeline. Thus it is an interesting alternative to companies situated in areas with no access to natural gas transmission network, which previously had to use other fuels. LPG reserves are easy to refill using road, rail or water transport.

LNG for the industry

Natural gas is used in industry as a fuel - both for power and heating purposes. Whereas the system of natural gas transmission networks is the most common form of its distribution, LNG offers possibilities for companies locaterd away from such network. Furthermore, in case of subject using network LNG ensures flexibility of operation in the need of increased (seasonal) demand for gas.

Natural gas is the cleanest fossil fuel, which gives companies with no access to transmission network chance to give up LPG, which in turn helps to reduce the footprint significantly. In liquid form natural gas can be delivered in any given place and then regasificate if needed. It ensures flexibility and effectiveness of natural gas use without extra investments in building connection to transmission network. How to switch to LNG?

LNG for the industry

Switching to LNG is a not complicated process. First we carry out detailed analysis of your operation, in order to estimate your needs in terms of energy and peak demand. Next this analysis transforms into specification for LNG installation attached to the package of solutions, including LNG delivery to the premises of your company. After decision is made the insallation is ordered, built and entered into service, according to the specification above.

The process lasts approximately three months since obtaining construction permit. After finishing the construction of installation, a conversion of your appliances to LNG is done. Then we take care only of service continuity, which are regular deliveries and equipment

LNG as a transport fuel

Switching to LNG drive look likewise. It requieres designing and contructing installation for storage and distribution of LNG fuel. It will be a turkney implementation, including deliveries management as well as equipment serviceand maintenance.

LNG installation

The procedure of switching to LNG is very simple.

1. Spot analysis

Our team consisting of engineers will inspect your grounds and find the best location for LNG installation. Our engineers will prepare installation design, according to your conditions, as well as detailed specification, including the arrangement of appliances and the list of requirements, concerning electric and mechanic installations for given location.

2. Engineering works

Preparatory work before delivering components of LNG satellite installation will be held under the strict supervision of GASPOL experts.

3. Delivering tanks and its installation

LNG storage tank and remaining equipment are delivered to your premises and unloaded. Then the team under GASPOL’s supervision assemblies the LNG satellite installation together with necessary equipment.

4. Installing safety panels

After tank assembly parameters of warning safety panels are adjusted, in order to ensure effectiveness and safety of installation operation. Then the GASPOL technical team carries out trainings for personnel, concerning theory and practice of installation operation.

5. LNG system ready to use

After putting the installation into service GASPOL can provide you with technical service and maintenance.


LNG transport

LNG supplies for GASPOL consumer are carried out by means of auto-cisterns. The supply source are terminals located both in Poland and Western/Eastern Europe. Thanks to continuous development of supply sources, GASPOL guarantees access to LNG in the most cost-and-logistics effective.

Bunkering of LNG ships

LNG is a perfect solution for owners of ships who want to reduce their pollutants emissions to the maximum. It is particularly important in the face of implementing new (S)ECA zone in Baltic Sea which has limited the maximum level of sulphur oxides in marine fuel, as well as emissions of particulate matter down to 0.1% m/m since 2015.

GASPOL has knowledge and experience in refuelling ships directly from the truck by means of our cisterns. We will reach your ship, wherever it is moored and supply the needed LNG amount directly to the ship’s tank.
In addition, we offer possibility of investment in dedicated stationary bunkering installation, which will let you enjoy quick and proper fuel for your ships. Typical ships which use LNG are passenger-cargo ferries, tugboats and larger container ships.

Thanks to our own, modern desulphurization station, we prepare our odourless gases and their mixtures according to our customers needs. We take under consideration the following parameters:

  • gas purity,
  • mixture contents,
  • gases pressibility,
  • sulphur contents,

  • contents of other components which influence the product’s effectiveness.

Product’s high quality is taken care of by employees from our laboratory who examine ordered mixture on each stage of production process. Product’s quality is always proven by a certificate.

Products are delivered to customers by dedicated cisterns for transporting desulphurised gases especially sensitive to purity.
